Korinthos LLC ("we", "us") operates Fovea. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your personal information.
2. Information We Collect
- Account Information: Email address, display name, hashed password
- Property Data: URLs, addresses, and listing details you add to your targets
- Analysis Data: Proforma settings, overrides, and AI-generated analysis results
- Usage Data: Login timestamps, feature usage patterns
3. How We Use Your Data
- To provide and improve the Service
- To generate investment analysis and estimates
- To communicate about your account (verification, password resets)
- To prevent abuse and maintain security
4. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We may share data with:
- AI Providers: Property details are sent to AI APIs (e.g., Anthropic) for analysis. These providers have their own privacy policies.
- Listing Sources: Property URLs reference third-party listing sites (Zillow, Redfin, Realtor.com). We are not affiliated with any listing platform.
5. Shared Analysis Cache
To reduce costs and improve performance, we cache AI analysis results keyed by property URL. If another user analyzes the same property, they may receive the cached result. This cache does not include any user-specific settings or personal information.
6. Data Storage & Security
Data is stored on our servers with appropriate security measures. Passwords are hashed using bcrypt. We use encryption in transit (TLS) for all connections.
7. Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You can delete all your data at any time by closing your account in Settings.
8. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access your personal data
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Delete your account and all associated data
- Object to processing of your data
9. Cookies
We use session cookies to maintain your login state. No tracking cookies are used.
10. Changes
We may update this policy periodically. We will notify active users of significant changes.
11. Browser extension data flow
The Fovea browser extension is an optional companion to your Fovea account. When you click "Add to Fovea" or "Re-analyze" on a supported listing page (Zillow.com, Redfin.com, or Realtor.com), the extension reads the visible HTML of the page you are on and sends it, together with the page URL, to https://fovea.deals so the listing details can be parsed and saved to your account.
The extension does not read pages on other websites, does not run in the background, and does not transmit anything until you click an Add or Re-analyze button. The extension stores only your Fovea account token, and (for self-hosted or staging users) a server URL, in browser-local storage on your machine.
Removing the extension from your browser deletes that token from local storage and stops all data flow; it does not affect data already stored in your Fovea account.
